GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CRC Super Tapping Compound is a specialist metal cutting compound which has been formulated as an instant, ready to use metal machining compound with excellent high cling and extreme pressure resistance properties.
FEATURES
CRC Super Tapping Compound provides an extreme-pressure resistant, tenacious film between the tool cutting edge and the work piece, ensuring an excellent surface finish and an extended tool life. Dissipates heat, and allows heavier close tolerance cuts, reducing rejects and increasing production.
APPLICATIONS
Outstanding performance for:
• turning,
• drilling,
• reaming,
• tapping,
• thread cutting
of tough metals such as stainless steel and high-tensile steels.
A safety data sheet (MSDS) according to EC Regulation N° 1907/2006 Art.31 and
amendments is available for all CRC products.
DIRECTIONS
Apply the required quantity to the cutting tool and work piece. CRC Super Tapping
Compound can be applied by brush or spatula, alternatively, drill taps, reamers etc may be
dipped directly into the compound.
